Peter has advanced degrees in math, law and business, each of which has given him the knowledge and insight to found and grow an international technology services company. He nurtured our company through its early years and gained valuable insights as he talked with customers about their equipment, working with engineers, and inspecting and shipping products.
Although he no longer is heavily involved with day-to-day operations, he continues to carefully analyze the marketplace, maintain connections with other industry professionals, and seek new ways to meet the needs of our customers.
Since our founding in 2001, Peter has worked to create a customer-centric focus at GTC as the basis for our future growth. He empowers our team members to use initiative and good judgment to do the right thing for our customers and company. He enjoys engaging with our team as frequently as possible – even starts each day by saying hello to every employee at our New York state-based headquarters.
John joined the GTC Board of Directors in 2012, having been the President & CEO of a large global GE industrial distributor. He then worked to support the sales and business development functions at GTC starting in 2017 before assuming his current role in January 2020.
As COO, John is the driving force behind GTC’s growth strategy, focusing on sales, product lines, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. He takes both a long- and short-term view as he ensures our operational success.
John, who received his MBA from Fordham University and is a former CPA, firmly believes that our success comes from our people. He invests his time and effort in not only coaching our global employees to come together as a single team, but also helping individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Richard, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, oversees financial operations for GTC. His CFO responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis and cost containment. He also supervises multiple divisions, including Billing, Collection, Procurement, Payables, IT and HR.
Richard works closely with other members of the management team on both strategic and tactical matters. He has been with GTC since 2014.
Jason brings over two decades of experience in the industrial electronics industry to ensure GTC delivers top-quality technical support to our end users and sales team. He designs and fabricates custom test fixtures to allow full functional testing of a diverse range of control systems, while providing tools, training and support for our repair centers in our U.S. and global locations.
When at the design bench, Jason uses multiple CAD/CAM tools to construct multi-layer circuit boards, and spends his day working close with GTC’s technical staff. During an average day he is also likely to provide technical knowledge to help facilitate company-wide efficient operations.
Given Jason’s technical background, people are often interested to learn that he and his wife had installed solar panels and wind turbines to generate electricity for their home, which is heated only with wood and solar collectors. He designed his own radiant floor system featuring circulation pumps, valves, temperature and charge controllers, inverters and a battery bank.
Douglas oversees multiple aspects of our company, including our warehouse and service and repair facility. He is the center of our supply chain, receiving and managing thousands of units of inventory from the moment they are received in our warehouse facility through the shipping of components to our customers. Overseeing our service center, he works closely with our expert lab technicians to ensure both quality and on-time completion.
Being part of the GTC family for 5 years, Douglas has been key to our ability to achieve exceptional levels of both quality and accuracy in our operational services.
Shahaab originally started as a sales manager for GTC India in 2013, it wasn’t until 2015 he became head of operations. His education includes a AMIE-Mechanical and a Master in Business Administration.
Currently, Shahaab is furthering his knowledge by pursuing a Certified Digital Marketing Masters to enhance the company’s initiatives.
Kyla Ann has been managing GTC’s marketing department since 2019. She’s responsible for developing and implementing branding projects across print and online platforms, designed to inform, engage and entertain our audiences.
Proficient in Media and Fine Arts, she studied in the U.S. at New England College and Pratt Institute, as well as Gerrit Rietveld Academie in the Netherlands. From directing multimedia productions to curating content for news and art publications throughout the U.S. and Europe, Kyla Ann has expertise in collaborating with external vendors and partners to optimize our influence in the industry.
With over 18 years of experience in professional office executive assistant positions, Eva manages day-to-day administrative duties and is responsible for making the office run smoothly. In addition, Eva assists HR in the development and implementation of office policies and all other HR-related functions.
Will is responsible for ensuring that GTC produces high quality work in a timely manner. As part of his role, he also communicates frequently with the sales team to update them on order status or to gather additional information needed to process orders correctly.
Dorothy has been with GTC since 2015, she is responsible for overseeing the company’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, collections and all related Bookkeeping functions. She also checks credit references and extends credit terms to our customers.
Andrew is in charge of business development for our Asia Pacific Region. His goal is to offer support to his customers while ensuring their control needs are being met.
Chang Sheng studied at Liverpool John More University where he received his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). His experience includes 9 years in sales, product and marketing with ABB Malaysia, handling medium voltage utility and low voltage electrical motor starter products.
He joined GTC in 2019 and is responsible for developing new business opportunities with new and existing customers, as well as ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Based out of Kuala Lumpur, he serves clients in Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore, Philippines, Brunei, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Miguel is an electromechanical engineer who has also earned his Master of Business Administration. He now puts his education and training to work for GTC in providing the highest quality service to users throughout the Latin America region.
Muzzammil manages operations for the Middle East Region, as well as Industrial Control Care (ICC), a subsidiary of GTC. He is dedicated to increasing sales efforts, capturing a greater market share and providing outstanding client service.
Laura has been a critical member of the sales team since 2014, delivering support to the North American-based sales representatives. After teaching for 27 years, she has a keen understanding of individuals’ abilities and needs.
In addition, she provides quotes and processes order for our North American and European customers, always reflecting GTC’s industry knowledge and professionalism.
John assists our outside sales representatives, dealing primarily with our overseas customers. He manages incoming orders from receipt of the purchase order to the shipment of the order.
He also sources parts and provides quotations to our customers when needed.
Jimmy has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and was an Account Executive for 5 years at Emerson Automation Solutions.
He has the experience and expertise when it comes to working on solutions for customers’ unique automation controls concerns. Jimmy is committed to creating, nurturing and managing excellent long-term business relationships and introducing new customers to the GTC brand.
Abel is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Marine & Mechanical Engineering. He has spent his career learning about turbines and controls, and has been a valuable team member since joining GTC in 2014.
Throughout his 30-year career, he has continued to learn about new issues and how to create quality solutions. He says that operators notice the small details that can resolve a problem, and that one of his skills is to listen and learn from their keen observations.
Abel frequently works at customer sites to provide technical advisory services and training and, with changes in technology, has begun offering virtual field visits. He provides internal technical support and troubleshooting on turbine control issues, writes many technical papers, and delivers countless tradeshow and user group presentations.
Sam joined the GTC team in 2008 and has advanced progressively in both sales and service departments. With his understanding of the industry, he is responsible for GTC’s growth in new markets, field service and training division, with a focus on GE Controls, Excitation and LCI systems.
He works directly with end-users and engineers to ensure our customer needs are met and exceeded. Additional duties include supporting our South East (USA) customers for all matters relating to their control systems, including testing, repairs, spares, or on-site expertise.
David has been part of our team since 2015 and is responsible for repairs, installation, and service. In addition, he designs electronic testing circuits, updates existing electronic systems, and write reports and testing manuals.
Dante spends his time in both the Repair Facility and Warehouse, processing all orders that come in and out of our At Your Service (AYS) system and assisting with inventory, shipping and receiving.
Although new to the GTC team, having joined in 2020, he has 15 years of operations experience. 8 of those years were spent at Carl Zeiss Microscopy. Whatever the obstacle, Dante has the know-how to overcome it and keep daily operations running smoothly.
Michael is responsible for setup and configuration of several different hardware and software systems to ensure tests are thorough and repeatable by our other technicians. He also assists these technicians when there is a challenge so we are able to keep product moving throughout the day.
Starting in 2012, Michael was GTC’s Inventory specialist where he received and organized equipment in the warehouse. From there, Michael became more involved with our Repair Facility operations, becoming a Level 1 Technician, manually installing electronic components and managing our repair database.
Michael is a highly disciplined electronic technician with experience specializing in maintenance and repair.
